Catch can issue

So I decided hook up my catch can to the line that goes from turbo to valve cover instead I the other one, now when I hit full boost I get a annoying loud ringing sound, u know like ud get when there is alot of vacuum sucking thew an aluminum catch can. So since I wanna keep it there how would I get ride of the sound? A new catch can with different design or spray it with sound proofing or just put it back to how it was

You might try shoving a ball of steel wool in there. That may disrupt the airflow enough to stop the sound. Even if this doesn't stop the noise, it will help to catch more of the blow by. You may also try using a different type of hose. If you're using those flimsy shiny thin hoses, change to some thicker hose. Fuel line hose would work. It's cheap and easily found at your local auto parts store by the foot. You can get braided hose for that extra Bling factor. If you're vented, you may try closing that. Make sure the connections are good. Even if they feel good, they can leak a bit after warming up. Also, thinner hoses can collapse when heated.

Good luck.

Do not use steel wool! It needs to be a stainless pot scrubber. The coarse kind. Steel wool will fall apart, and get sucked into the intake.

This. My bad. That's what I used on My STI. Wasn't catching anything. Then put in the pad and caught stuff. Bits of steel going into the intake might be bad. LOL.
