Catless Downpipe questions! Help!
Catless Downpipe questions! Help!
So I have a 2010 cobalt ss turbo. I have an agency power catback and wanna buy a downpipe. I've been looking at the Megan racking downpipe and want it. But I'm scared of giving off a code. The real question is, if I put a catless downpipe on my car, will I need to get it tuned to my downpipe?
I have HPTuners to use at my own disposal so its as simple as disabling the p0420 cat efficiency code.. but given you likely dont have that software I'm guessing your best bet would be to find a "defouler" to try and prevent it from throwing the code in the first place
And it won't hurt my car if I don't tune it to the downpipe and exhaust?

I have Turbo XS cat-less down pipe, never had a problem with it.
