Catless DP ?s
Catless DP ?s
What are the power gains between a catted and catless down pipe? And with a catless you have to tune out the downstream O2 right? Plus it is a good idea to get a tune with any dp right? Thanks
Many of the catless DP's have the bung for the O2 sensor so you don't have to make the tune ignore it.
Exhaust system changes don't necessarily require a retune the way intake changes do.
If you want the most power, a tune is a must.

get all your bolt ons... even tho ur not going to c a big difference on the car, after your done with the bolt ons go a get a tune... then you will feel the car runing like a champ bro... its going to b a complete new monster!
Ok cause I come from the LT1 and LS f-bodys and I know they have an O2 before and after the cat. They compare info between the two to make sure the cat is working for emissions reasons. And if you get rid of the cat you either have to use an O2 sim. or tune it out. I didn't know is these cars were the same or not.
no these cars they bend the O2 tube so you dont throw any CELS.... besides you might want to get the catless DP.... it sound nice as *** and the performance is better... or get a catted DP with a cut out on it...
