Cel

i went to the local advance auto store because i have had a cel come on and off for the past couple days and the store told me it was something with the evap valve? Can someone explain and tell me how to fix it? Also i got my car tuned by m dub and noticed once i went to get gas and go to crank my car up it doesnt want to crank for some reason. It never did this til i got my tune. I only us shell v-power (93 octane)

Sounds like you need to replace the evap purge solenoid that's on the intake manifold. It's right on the front of it on top held in by one 10mm bolt - it has a line running to it and an electrical connector.

It's about $20-$25 and maybe 3 minutes to replace it.

What code number did they pull exactly?

My fuel trims were all out of wack when the the Evap Purge was acting up. It's not horrible but not necesarilly healthy for the car.

Get it fixed. Not a hard fix or anything. Just money and a few minutes of your time.

Someone sucked at designing these.

I believe you can only get it online or at the dealership.

Might ask Crate engine depot for a price shipped
