Charge Pipe
[QUOTE=TommypSS/TC] You can order the charge piping separate from the kit too if you email them. [QUOTE]
The Treadstone charge piping won't work with the stock intercooler. Their setup doesn't have the 90* bends on the intercooler.
They also give you the choice of using an aftermarket BOV or blocking off the BOV flange. I think the block off plate is $20.
Basically if you just want to change the hot side pipe, go with ZZP. If you're interested in doing all the pipes and getting an intercooler too, you can't beat the treadstone kit for price and quality.

Dejon is expensive but they are who I am going with. Summit White
Now the real question, just "hot side" 3 piece with silicone couplers and T bolts only OR get the cold side piping ALSO????
I hear that installing a BOV actually makes the vehicle run less efficiently. Granted, I have GMS1 on my SS/TC, but maybe you can tune it for optimization.

An aftermarket Vent-to-air BOV isn't going to cause any real performance gains or major losses.
It'll be able to hold higher boost levels...
But there's always the problem of added turbo lag, rich spikes on shifts due to losing air from the piping (unless you relocate the MAF to a blow-through design and tune for it), and aftermarket BOV's have a tendency to cause compressor surge because of not being able to be perfectly calibrated.
They do sound awesome though. And new charge piping might help with turbo spool times just due to a decrease in air resistance in the intake tract.

have you dyno'd your car?
yeah man, i love the look of the hahn parts!

Not yet. I am waiting for a trifecta cable from my amigo in AZ the dyno runs will be next week hopefully like Monday or Tuesday timeframe. Since I live in California we have **** water for gas. So the dyno numbers will be a little low but I should still see like 315-320hp at the wheels hopefully. That is with a full stage 3 kit though. Which is CAI, pipes, intercooler, full exhaust, block of plate, and bov.
Yea, I went with Hahn's for looks as well, plus they are STILL working on their BOV for their charge piping, meaning they're taking time with it and its probably going to work well. Sucks that all of their stuff is pricey, cause it's quality stuff.
Not to second guess hahn or anything but is it really that hard to weld in a bung for a BOV? I like my treadstone stuff. It looks nice and subdued, except for the BOV. I am not into something super flashy red or yellow. And it fits great. And The whole intercooler kit is like 700 with charge pips and all. That is what Hahn charges for just the intercooler...
? Everyone else's is way cheaper... I am a supporter of the old addage, "you get what you pay for" but there are limits.

If you plan on getting a bov make sure you have the pipes setup for a maf relocation aswell.....its stupid to run the bpv and an atmospheric bov together. Put an intake on you will here the bpv just fine. Unless your upgrading the turbo I don't see any need to get the atmospheric bov....bpv can handle 24psi all day long...anymore boost the turbos out of its efficiency rrange. Whatever pipes you get, get one that anchors to the intake manifold or somewhere on the motor....zzp and injen are the only ones that have that as far as I know
