As I said already, Ive had the SRI for 8 or 9 months, Im not just getting it. I didnt need to glue it....I just made sure I had it on correctly (nice and flush on the turbo. I tightened the end on the intake first, then slid the other end on the turbo...then I tightened the hell out of it and havent ever had a problem.

CIA picked up 6WHP with their design that goes directly over the motor compared . Which means that would be the first thing I would want was one that was designed to go across the motor.

The only companies that make one like that are Injen and CIA. Injen is cheaper, That is who I went with. I mean isn't the whole point to buy performance parts that give you the most well performance? Injen's is like 208 from TH motorsports. Dejon's is like 209.99 and it gives less performance than the injen no point in going with them unless you want to add a blow off valve or have it match your car.

Injen gives the Most power for the cheapest. Fitment was great have not had any problems, been on the car for about 3K miles. I have a feeling ZZP's will end up being the best deal out there.

Well thats all well and good that they reportedly yield 6whp, but what good does that do us without a number to compare it too? Whats the expected HP increase from the aftermarket CP routed similar to the stock CP?

theres not much of gain to be had from charge pipes. Most of us upgrade because the stock ones are junk

Right. A downpipe is a pretty beneficial upgrade though right? What about a catted DP?

I sold my Dejon and got Injen. Injen's charge pipes are amazing. shorter length like CIA, without the price gauging, and there black painted CP has nice silver metal flake in it. It also comes with a moutning spot on top of the intake manifold to hold it snug in place. Doesnt hit the hood, and fits beautiful. Couldnt ask for a better product. You can probobly get the injen powdercoated the exact color you want and still wind up cheaper then some of the other brands

Yeah....a downpipe is pretty beneficial, even a catted one. There isnt much difference between a catted and catless dp hp wise.....maybe 2-3 hp from what i read. I have the CIA catted stainless and i love it. I noticed a big difference in spool up time, the sound of the turbo and trq even without a tune.

Hope this answers your question

i believe injen is aluminum, its light as hell. doesnt come with T-clamps however, i used the T-clamps i bought for my dejon to hold it on, but some guy said he has 25psi through his with worm clamps, but id pickup some T-clamps for the intercooler and turbo connections.

I got clear image's performance version. came with t bolts and I could be happier with them. hold strong (even on my 30psi spikes)

Injen gives you worm clamps, okay at best on the stock tune, get t-bolts and don't worry about your charge pipes blowing off (especially when tuned)

Actually my bad I made a mistake it's not 1 x 2 and 5 x 2.5 it's what I show below sorry:

Ok I hope the picture below clears this up. The Injen kit comes with:

1 x 2.0" Silicone Coupler
2 x 2.5" Silicone Couplers
2 x 2.0" Worm Clamps
4 x 2.5" Worm Clamps

So you will need to purchase:

2 x 2" T-Bolt Clamp
4 x 2.5" T-Bolt Clamps

You should also consider purchasing another 2.5" Straight Coupler because the ones that come with the kit are very short (~ 2.0") and it doesn't give you much room to play with connecting the lower pipe to the IC. But you don't have to purchase this one.

Sorry about the shitty quality pic, and this is a pic comparing my Stock CP's to the Injen CP's

thank you tom.g that is what I was looking for! I'll order the tclamps and coupler extension. You recommend siliconintakes.com?

Is the 2.0" coupler on the turbo side long enough?

NP northvibe. Yes the 2.0" Coupler that connects the turbo is long enough and even the one 2.5" coupler that connects the two CP's to each other is long enough because it's easy to work with, I just found the one connecting the lower CP to the Intercooler was a bit too short you will see what I mean when your installing the kit lol

Yah I ordered all of my stuff from www.siliconeintakes.com when it was all said and done I think I paid about $45 for everything but I also ordered a 3.25" Silicone Coupler to do the ZZP Intake Mod but that's another story lol.

2 x http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...f42649af98202c
4 x http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...f42649af98202c
1 x http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...f42649af98202c (Optional)

I agree with tom.g ^^^^^

The coupler on the hot side intercooler needs to be longer. I got the one on it came with but it was a challenge. Careful not to crush the stock IC connection, it's plastic.

I used t-bolt clamps on the connections except at the turbo since I got the wrong size. No issues with the worm clamps there as the CP moves with the engine & turbo. It anchors to the intake mani as was stated earlier in the thread. It's seen about 30 psi a few times, 25 psi on a regular basis.

So I just installed mine..WOW you guys were right the couplers provided were short. I think I'm just going to order the 2.0" and another 2.5" so all the couplers are a better length. I blew one off on a test drive... how tight do you guys tighten the tclamps?

Does anyone know if the amounts of couplers and t-bolts used here the same for the Dejon? I have the upper charge pipe only, and Dejon wants $100 plus for the t-bolt/coupler kit there, so i'm looking at SiliconeIntakes site... Thanks guys!

4 couplers 8 tbolts

But I doubt they want 100+ cause the piping comes with couplers already
