Charge piping rubbing hood??

Question Charge piping rubbing hood??

i just installed my new Dejon pressure piping on my 09 cobalt ss tc and it slightly rubs on my hood when i shut the hood..im pretty sure everything is on correctly and its pushed as far as i can take it..any suggestions??

nice to see ya on here bro, yea jus shove everything as deep as ya can into the couplers, and try adjusting the hood stoppers,, (raise them)

adjust them like push them more closer to the intercooler?

yeah im mess with the hood in the morning,until then im not gonna drive it much cause its starting to scratch the powdercoat off and i just got that stuff in today

the hood stoppers,, the lil metal things with the rubber caps on them,, you can adjust them lower or higher,, go as high as ya want as long as it will still latch when ya shut it..

ok, you know where trhe hood latch is,, not the part on the hood,, but the part that the hood connecrts to,,, ok,, the stoppers are to the right and left of that... you cant miss them,, they are lil short lil pole things that have rubber caps on them....

Mine rubs, ive spent countless hours with the couplers to no avail. Its rubbed as much as its going to rub and only left a small mark. Ill survive lol.

sounds like when i put on my hahn one, rubbed the hood to, i had it on backwards.

Not sure how thats possible..if i did mine backwards it wouldnt even come close to being able to connect it together lol.

ive heard that about putting the hahn ones on backwards.... my buddies was rubbing the hood even though we couldnt get it to go into the couplers anymore or push the couplers down.
