He was trapping 120 mph with a tune and boltons too. I beleive it was probably a 100 shot. A 250 shot would be nuts in this size motor.

depended on the day.

$ races. was my special ' blue juice jet as i called it' was approx a 135shot. but i was also on 100 octane to help a bit.

i always had 2 bottles on my car. i went through alot of nitrous. and i mean alot. the cobalt was the most fun car i ever owned to spray and i had almost 2 dozen non stock cars.

the cobalt is such a fun sleeper.

i was wrong

Dry shot and canned tune FTL. His A/F was way too lean for the nitrous.

Are you seeing a trend here? First he blows up his engine, then later the car burns down. Do you really want to ask him for advice?

If you are serious about nitrous, start out small, like a 25 HP shot with all the safety features like window switch, WOT switch, FPSS, etc., then test and check air fuel ratio. Have fun for a while before moving up. Not sure I'd go above a 50 shot unless you have a good tuner and really know what you're doing. The stock LNF engine has cast pistons and is already under boost from a turbo. Call me cautious, but I'd want forged pistons before going nuts with nitrous.

I wouldnt even do nitrous at all if you are asking about it on css.net

for real........... choko got a bimmer because he toasted his car and he won't even post pics of the aftermath ... I doubt the car started on fire by itself anyway.........

I thought he was only running a 100 shot and it blew the motor ... It was tuned also. I thought he was racing ferraris or someshit as it happened..

Actually, it was a solstice owner that did a 250 shot. He worked his way up to it, but the motor survived for a little bit.

just imagine wat forged internals, a bigger turbo and that same shot of nitrous would do and RWD on that solstice too

Can't show yourself burning up a car for insurance purposes.

apparently there is a power line running underneath the rear seat that rubbed away. it caught the rear seat foam on fire and then the rest of the car went up in flames
