ok so my clutch pipe is leaking. GM changed out my trans but never put a new TOB or pipe on. like a dumbie, i dropped the trans, put a new clutch and TOB in but never changed the pipe. my question is, can you change the pipe without dropping the trans? there is the plastic cover right there, but i thought i would ask before i start tearing it apart.
you are so right, i just pulled everything apart. and there is no O ring, fucken GM,

No you can't change the clutch pipe without dropping the trans. The o-ring, yes. But not the clutch pipe. Been through multiple trans installs. Just change the o-ring and make sure the old one isn't stuck in the bleeder block. Also the easiest way to bleed the clutch after you do this is to go buy the mity vac vacuum pump bleeder kit from harbor freight. Its better than the kits you can get from the autoparts stores for rent. Then go buy an 1 1/4" sink stopper and I believe it was a 1/4 inch barb male threaded fitting to put through a hoe you drill in the center. Put it on top of the reservoir with the pedal up and bleeder screw tight. Make sure you use the reservoir that comes with the bleeder too. Hook the vacuum pump to the barbed fitting on the stopper, put the reservoir for the pump in the middle of the line. Pull vacuum until it won't pull anymore and release it. Do this 3 times and you'll have no air in the lines. Easiest way to do it. You may also have to put some silicone around the fitting for a better seal in the stopper.
