Clutch Question!! Please Help!

Ok so had to do an engine rebuild since my piston ring number 2 blew which cause a hole in the piston. Had dropped the craddle removed the engine. Transmission stay on craddle. Reinstalled engine lifted craddle. But now my clutch has no pressure it stays at the bottom! If i bleed it with the vac pump it will gain pressure but is los after first pump and fluid leaks out of bottom of tranny. I checked distribution block but everything seem ok. Also while engine was removed I pressed the clutch by mistake, could this have caused damage!?

I was running 27 psi. But the damage on piston number is incredible. Looks like someone shot the piston.

ya u cant run that much boost on stock turbo, it produces nothin but heat after about 23-24 psi. pretty much everyone who has run that much boost has had the same thing happen.

Either you blew the seal on the slave cylinder from pumping it uncompressed(fluid had no where to go so I'm betting thats what happened) or you randomly blew the rubber seal on the clutch pipe at the distribution block and I highly doubt that. I would say 95% sure you blew the seal out of the slave cylinder so you have to pull the trans....

Thanks guys. I'll start pulling the tranny tomorrow but not looking forward to it. Is there a way to determine which is busted or will there prob be physical damage making it obvious?

It wasn't your mistake, though. You received the wrong pressure plate, right?
