clutch replacement

Alright So Im pretty new to working on cars. Im trying to replace my clutch and Im not sure how to do it. Ive looked for videos and guides but I cant seem to find one thats helpful. Anyone know of a book preferably one with pictures and a step by step guide?

if ur pretty new u better get someone's help who knows what they are doing. Cause taking out the trans itself is a big job. The clutch is the easy part. Took me like 4 hours just to take out trans the first time. Ur gonna have to take out the axles , drop the subframe , and all that fun stuff.

OP this is a serious job. A lift and trans jack along with the special tools needed for the install are suggested.

at the garage Im going to has lifts trans jacks and everything I need. Unfortunately the guy that knows how to do it is currently unavailable and I cant wait until he gets back. Whats a good way to support the motor when I pull the transmission out?

read the guide I just posted. It shows you how to place an engine brace.

Make sure you have someone with you who has done it before it's a big job. Also make sure you bleed the throw out bearing correctly or you will have to pull it again.
