looking for tuner in IL

Hi, new member here. I recently bought an 08 SS/TC and have all the normal bolt ons on it (intake, charge pipes, down pipe, catback, bpv), so now I would like to get tuned. I know i could just go with trifecta and do it all over email but i think I'd like to get an HPTuners Tune. Does anyone know a reputable tuner that is preferably in the chicago or champaign/Urbana areas. Thanks an advance and I'm loving my new Cobalt so far!

I got my car tuned by Dave at Performance Autowerks in Oswego. Had a few retunes as I added parts and I've always been happy with the results.

Edit: Almost forgot, welcome to the forums. Post pics of your car when you get a chance.

I haven't heard anything bad about pwerks and have purchased items from them. They specialize in ecotecs and have a Dyno to tune on.

Cool, I'll give them a call to try a get a quote for a tune. They're only half an hour away from me so that's super convienent. Thanks for the info.

Full dyno tune is $500 last I checked, and $350 for a street tune. Free street tunes after initial tune are included as you add parts/want things changed, and to go back on the dyno is $150.

Also, nice looking car, looks clean.
