I personally have the Exedy Hyper Single and like it a lot. It doesnt slip at all. My car is fully bolted with the GM stage kit and a HPTune on top of it.

if you have money to spend and dont care about peddle pressure go for the hyper single. if you want to spend 400 on a clutch that will hold your power go with kyclutches clutch. So far there has been quite a few people on this forum buy them including me. About the tune, id go with a gms1 sensor kit and then get a hp tune on top, and if you wanna spend more $ get a trifecta hptune combo

The clutch peddal isnt really that stiff on my car but its a notivable difference from stock.

Installation wise i had Pwerks do it for me and it took them like 3 hours with everything

Stage kit is worth the money id say

What are your opinions on the Clutch Master stage 3, it's $600 and it seems like it'd be good, but KY seems cheaper and if it works for 400 ft/tq then it's good enough for cheaper. Well not saying I'm 400, but the stuff in my sig and lower cp and intercooler

What's their website?

lets say this. i had clutchmasters stage 4, two of them. I blew both of them up, one disc had its pads andthe springs grenaded, second one the springs grenaded. My ky clutch has never blew, and it holds great. U can get a kevlar/ ceramic, or a cermic double faced double sprung ect. you can also get the 8 puck as well which will hold a lot more. But i recommend building your tranny. i blew mine up with the 8 puck and i bought the tranny from qaife lol..

Well i don't wanna blow up my tranny, I just want a stock feeling clutch that'll slip when I need it to ease forward. I'm not putting more on my car except a clutch, clutch rod, intercooler and lower CP.

Is the 6 pluck gonna be good for what I need?

ZZP Stage 4... no noise, no slip, drives like stock, very slight increase in pedal pressure but after a day you don't even realize it. It's holding up to 400lb/ft+ without breaking a sweat.

ZZP Clutch is $800

I guess I'll just fork out the extra $200 for quality

as i stated before you can get a clutch with stock feel. Get a 6 puck double sprung single side kevlar and single side ceramic itllhold and it will have a good feel, abit more then stock, but its nothing like a ceramic ceramic disc. and its priced good.

the trannys i bought were from quaife, but they both blew so i highly doubt anything was built, it was the 5 speed. My new tranny now has all the gears cryoed, the casing cryoed, and 2nd and 3rd gear molded and then was make into a hardened steel . and no difference in anything, there just the gears that were always ate up. Thre shop that did it was located in washington or Orgeon, I had my new tranny taken apart and the shop where my car was at did this for me since i couldnt get the time to since i was in California on personal buissness.

Im wondering if the 2 gears that are hardened will not wear out the softer ones? just wondering, i know this become a problem when doing that with ''cough'' my RC cars lol
