Cobalt ss Tc Intake?

Is an intake worth it ? K&n or Zzp ?

also..

my dads work at GM and asked a guy who worked on the SS whats best for performance.

He said keep the pirellis for best performance bc the car was built around them.

just letting everyone know.

im also looking for a 800+ suspension kit for handling. Hoping to drop 3-4k into extra mods. Hoping to get nav screen to lol

please read the sticky's, there's a lot of info in them. If you're gonna get an intake you may be doing more harm than good without a tune. Stock tires are not pirelli, they're Continental Contisportcontact 2s. Just because a car comes with a certain tire stock does not mean that's what's best for it. Depending on how much you want to spend on tires you can get tires that are far better than stock

If you want the best handling possible, pick up a set of pedders springs, which are only a small drop but handle second to none. Get either the hardcore bar or their XXX bar (rear sway bar) from Powell Race Shop, they know more about how to make this car handle than anybody. If you want a good Nav unit check out the Pioneer AVIC units, or a similar Kenwood unit.

Also, please post in the correct specific forum.

It cost me $300 but that was prices up in Alaska. Yes what TommyP said. if you're going to add performace mods on your car you NEED to get it tuned. Especially with an intake.

Ok then, in that case IMO go with the K&N SRI.

Air box mod works great as an alternative if you can't get tuned for some reason. The K&N is amazing. I love mine. The sounds alone are worth the $200.
