I've had an issue for quite awhile now I cant figure out. When I start the car on a cold morning it will backfire and pop and try to stall out for about 20 seconds or so. I dont think its tune related as I have loaded some older tunes to test it out with the same results. Its an LDK build. I'm wondering if it might just be the nature of stage 2 cams on a cold day. Runs perfect after 30 seconds, just that first start it coughs

 

Check your spark plugs yet?

 

the moment it fires hit the gas and hold it at 2500-3000 for 10 seconds or so. Should purr like a kitten after that.

 

Yeah, afraid the issue has persisted thru a few sets of plugs. I guess I may have to tap the gas to hold rpm's up as armcclure suggests, but it bugs me that it didnt always do that.
