crankcase ventilation mod

has anyone moved their pcv valve to the exhaust?? i heard the flow of the exhaust will form a better vacuum then your intake to vent ur crank case better ? also it can had a possible 20-30 hp????? and you wouldn't have to run a catch can too. i started the installment today for **** an giggles the parts where 50 bucks ish ( 02 sensor adapter nipple , check valve and some flex tube) should be done tmrw or Thursday and i will let ppl know if you really get a gain of hp from it but was wondering if anyone else has done this????

Depending on how restrictive your exhaust is it will most likely blow.exhaust gasses into the crankcase if anything. I doubt you'll form any vacuum unless you straight pipe it and even then the vacuum wont be much....you'll run into oil drain issues on your turbo.

i didnt think of the ristrictive part that may be a issure since im not straight pipped but the exhaust fumes going into the crankcase i feel good with the check valve not allowing that to happen .

I doubt that check valve will hold up to exhaust heat. It was designed for the intake andmade out of plastic.

Yeah, I hope so man. I just think you won't see the gains you're expecting. The only thing you'd be doing is re routing crankcase gases which doesn't affect the car that much to begin with and it could mean the life of your turbo. Just keep an eye on it is all I can say.
