you can crack them sure. But you have to abuse the **** out of your brakes and daily autocross and road race the car with very aggressive pads.

They crack. One really hot run is all it takes. Are you gonna do it in 1 stop? Probably not, but unless you are paying attention to the state of the rotors, it is not worth getting them. Why would you even want them in the first place? So you can look like some idiot Porsche?

Porsche's look nice lol. I agree though, don't waste money and BS aftermarket parts. As Wangspeed told me earlier the best is stock brakes. I had to go to the track a few times to figure it out for myself. I have stock rotors with HPS pads. I'm changing my whole set up back to stock, all brand new. These hps pad can not handle my track days braking from 130-80 mph in 1 second lol

If legit OEM drilled/slotted rotors existed for our cars (like the ones that come on Porsches and Ferraris) then I would get them but these aftermarket ones are just no good if you plan to track race or do any semi regular competitive racing. I would bet they would be okay for normal driving but I wouldn't take the risk.

Porsche and Ferrari rotors (carbon ceramic aside) crack just as often under hard use.

only a handful of the people on this site will ever put these brakes through stress. i can probably count them off on one hand. if not one then less than half of another

I have personally cracked multiple sets of rotors. Drilled rotors are garbage. That being said, if you only drive on the street and enjoy reduced pad life so you can look cool, buy them. On the street you will be perfectly fine. Porsche and countless other OEs feel necessary to put the junk on cars right from the factory, don't see an issue with only driving them on the street.

The ones that come on those cars from the factory are just drilled blanks, they crack just as easy.

Edit: Wangspeed already said all of this, I should've read the entire thread before posting

Buddy of mine just bought a GT3, was talking to him at an autocross over the weekend, and the rotors are supposedly 26,000 dollars. And as an added bonus, the brakes don't work until they get some heat in them, haven't driven it yet, but just going by what he and his co-drivers have told me.

Yeah, carbon ceramic don't work for **** until you're blazin' around a race track. He aint lying about that, thats for sure. The $26k price tag.... That seems a bit high. I could believe $10k. But hey, that sucks either way.
