I have a 2009 Chevy Cobalt LT. My cruise control was not working. I followed the advice given by different contributers and replaced my brake lights. My cruise control in now working. Thank You.

I've tried all of this but no luck. about 107K miles on her.
At this point i've bought replacement switches for the cruise control and brake light (both behind the brake), and the Clutch pedal top travel as well. I'm just having a hard time reaching that are to remove those parts.
Any suggestions or tutorials anyone can share will be greatly appreciated.

brake lights

There are three sets of brake lights on the rear of your cobalt. The driver's side, the passenger side and right in the middle on the back and on the upper part of your trunk is a brake light. There are four bulbs in this set and if you replace them, maybe your cruise control will work.
