Custom 3" exhaust ....
Custom 3" exhaust ....
So.... I am thinking about the Dejon 3" Dp...... After that I am going to have a 3" pipe all the way out back..... What is your take on this? Good Idea? Too loud? If it would be too loud I am thinking of putting a cheap high flow muffler in along with a cut out close to the Dp and putting a "close to stock" looking 3" tip out back
any suggestions?

if your going to run a cutout right after the downpipe i would just leave the stock cat back alone or at least do a muffler delete...quiet daily driving, and a monster when the cutout is opened...if you really like the loudness of it just leave the cutout open whenever you drive lol...i remember i had a 3" full exhaust on my mazdaspeed 6 without cats, resonators or mufflers and it was loud as fawk! like crazy loud, when id downshift and get on it next to people driving with their windows down i would scare the **** out of them...it was funny to watch them jump and almost hit their head on the ceiling lol
I want the full 3" all the way out back..... I already have a muffler delete. So I think now I am doing....
Dejon Dp - Cut out - 3" stainless pipe - magnaflow or flow master can - stock looking tip...

i have a 3inch synapesturbo downpipe... with a custom 3 inch exhaust all the way back with magnaflow supposedly "best muffler" its nice and deep.... not loud tho... if you want loud i say vibrant
also does the 3" dejon downpipe toss any codes? or does adding a 3 inch pipe thro toss codes?
I love my muffler delete......but its all 2.5"......and the resenator or whatever its called constricts flow.... Thats why I am going the DP and Mandrel bent 3" all the way out back....nothing but free flow = win
You will have to drive the car a distance at some point.
Getting no resi or muffler is a stupid idea IMO...unless you love the sound of drone on the high way
I have a 14" Manga resi and an oval magna muffler and it is deep and quiet on the highway but plenty loud when you get on it.
And resonators and muffler don't restrict flow...aftermarket designed ones like magnaflow are packed chambers that are actually larger than the piping. They deaden the sound...that is all they do.
Now a flow master ***** with your flow

dejon downpipe will throw a code unless you get a tune since it doesnt use the rear o2. my setup is basically going to be a 3" downpipe with an electric cutout, 3" stainless pipes all the way back into a vibrant 1058 muffler.....doing the jdm thing out back without a rediculous angle though.....and before anyone starts hating on me because of it listen up... I DONT CARE its my car im doing what i like not what everyone else likes.
I'm gonna be ordering the Dejon catless DP with e-cutout here in a few weeks hopefully. I think that will sound just fine with the stock exhaust. So with the Dejon catless DP it will throw a code? Guess I'll just have Vince send me the tuner back to my house for a tune to get rid of the code and to up my rev limiter to 7k.
dud i have a straight back 3' custom made exhaust and its NICE! i love it... i deleted one cat but im saving to get the Dejon DP. i have stock tip and its not loud at all in the inside. you hear it but you dont get bored of it... its nice and deep and when it farts its sweeeeed! you should defenetly do it! ooo and by the way i dont have any codes eather.. and ull feel the diference too!
