I have a 3" straight pipe just goes down to a 2.5 for like 12" where it ends since it would be too low to the ground (i have a side exit) and the bitch is loud but i love it

I just ordered the treadstone stainless 3" catback with no muffler or resonator. If it's unbearable i'll slap a muffler on it.

ive had it installed for a couple months now.

pros:
sounds mean as hell
not that loud on the highway unless your going up a steep hill
pretty quiet when your just cruising

cons:
cold start up is LOUD (you can tune out cat warm up however)
if you get on it too much it gets loud
flooring it under 3-4k rpm doesnt sound too good. lol.

other than that its great. sounds similar to an srt-4. just dont floor it at low rpms. when your WOT at higher rpm's (you should never go WOT at low rpm anyway) it sounds awesome, but very loud. i havnt had a problem with it yet.

I have a quiet exhaust that sounds great so I can't comment. The one you want is pretty loud so keep in mind you have to live with it. The highway drone would drive me nuts. May want to throw a resonator in there just for that.

I went catless and it's perfect. Completely normal during most driving situations but gets real loud on throttle and boost.

Straight pipe would get real annoying really quickly. Wouldn't be able to have a conversation while driving. Also don't be a dick.

I agree with these guys. I have the turbo xs rfl and catless dp. Its no muffler and 1 resonator. Sounds mean and you can keep it quiet if you want. Just a straight pipe would be overly loud and annoying
