Dedicated Intercooler Fans?

Just something I've thought of doing to help keep iat's as low as possible. Wondering is anyone has set up small fans between the intercooler and condenser that run when in boost or always when running to aid in airflow across the ic

Try spraying water on your intercooler

When u build boost ur moving pretty fast already and I found the intercooler very effective when the car is moving. The idea of fans would only help when going very slow or idling.
The water spray, or some sort of fast evaporating liquid spray is the best advice.
If u wanna go the fan route I'd probably just make some better shrouds, and tune the radiator fans to be on more often. I'm not sure if we have access to those calibrations in hpt, but if we do that's what I'd try first. Its unlikely ur gonna get any better air flow than when those radiator fans are running.
My advice I guess would be leave this alone and find an easier thing to address that has bigger gains. But that is just a guess.

Yea, I was mostly just curious if anyone has done anything like this. water spray would require a reservoir, motor, and hoses so wouldn't that be just excessive weight for what you gain?

the cobra guys have a dual fan setup thing that ive seen them run with their heat exchangers to help keep air flowing over the fins when sitting in the staging lanes.

Ive thought about it for my lsj but im not sure if its worth it because the iats drop once you move again.

The intercooler has to be somewhat that same if not better than our water to air crap.

Dont think iat is a problem on the lnf
Hell there is a guy here running a turbo lsj without an intercooler all together
Guys that run on racetracks dont have problems with the iat but do with coolant temp

guys run c02 sprayers for when sitting in line at the track, just before launch spray the intercooler g2g, dont think your allowed to spray a liquid on a track, fans would be useless imo, need something to flashcool it
