Dejon Intake

I've been looking into getting an intake for my car and have a question about the Dejon intake. if i go with this intake should I get it with the recirculation tube already welded on if i plan to upgrade to a blow off valve in the future? Can i still use the intake if it has the recirculation tube on it but isnt connected to anything? Or should i just leave the recirculation tube off?? any input would be great or if you prefer a better intake that would help to thanks

i 100% suggest a different intake. the Dejon SR intake has no mounts and it ends up sitting on the stock intake mount and on mine it rubbed through the rubber that i put on the screw sticking up and wore its way through the intake. go with a different company

everyone can go to hell I LOVE my Dejon and it works fine if you take the time to install it properly. that little rubbing problem can be fixed by simply bending the bolt about 1/4 inch. I will promote this intake 100%.

If you want that setup I have one I will would sell you cheap (black finish)....

It has 2 slight wear marks (not all the way through). I will let it go extremely cheap lol...Comes with AEM Intake and the couplers you receive from dejon.

I have the dejon SRI and i also love it, I installed it my self, and nothing is rubbing or any of that.

Alot of people complaining about intakes shoudl be blaming themselves for whatever problems they are having.

Its like a new golfer picking up tigerwoods driver and when they whiff they say the club is a piece of ****. Beieve me it is not the part it is the part owner 95% of the time.

And for everyone on CSS to understand that little analogy... I called alot of members on this site incompetent ******** who botch up an install and blame the company that made the part.

Every intake available needs the MAF sensor retuned for it to run correctly. If you aren't going to tune for an intake, it's a waste. It won't throw a CEL until the fuel trims are off 25% but the AEM skewed mine 14%, & the Hahn CAI skewed it 11% until I tuned for it. The K&N drop in even affects it 7-8% in the stock airbox.

While I didn't have the ability to scan when I had the Dejon on it, it didn't run well. To each their own. There is no mounting bracket to support it and it used a piece of radiator hose as a reducer at the turbo.

The Hahn CAI runs the best and has the highest flow that I logged once properly tuned.

You are making the assumption that all that have owned Dejon's intake and had issues with it are stupid. Bad assumption to make.
It is poorly designed. It has a piece of coupler inside a coupler as a reducer instead of a proper 3" X 2.5" reducer or what ever size it was. Because of the outside diameter of the coupler it hits the BPV cover before the coupler can slide all the way onto the turbo. The breather fitting does not reach and it has no barb to retain the stock breather hose even if it did reach.

As you know Term. I was involved in all the design of dejon's produces for the ss/tc. the intake when install right has no fitment issues. the cuppler works! and when installed right there is no issues. plus it helps keep the cost down. I loved my dejon sri when I had it. some people have had problems with intakes (all makes) and others have not! If your on the stock turbo leave the stock intake!!!!!!!

Amen! Ive had my SRI for 1 year with ZERO problems. You just have to be concious of how you position it when you install it.

If you get an intake, any intake, please tune for it. Your car will thank you for it.

Unless they redesigned it in the last month or so the coupler kinks badly on that intake.

I installed mine properly and I still hated that intake because of its poor design. It also made the car run rich until I retuned for it, but all intake mods including the airbox mod will affect the MAF.

Through feedback with several customers it was a matter of trimmimg the 2 1/2" end of the silicone elbow to correct length. A perfect fit has been achieved on the most recent kits. Other than that i have had two out of 50 customers who had fitment issues with the mounting bracket. Everyone else had no problems.

i got dejon intake, it fits and works just fine. doesnt have a mount other then the turbo, but doesnt cause any problems either. plenty of space for my AC lines, and if you have to tune for an intake, why not get the cheap one and tune for it?

I installed it correctly and I will assure you it has fitment issues. Most would be happy to spend an extra $10 for a proper silicone reducer coupler that will slide on the turbo all the way without hitting the BPV cover and a barb on the PCV connector to keep the vent hose on. The car also ran the worst out off all the different intakes I have had on my car. It ran mega rich especially on tip in until I spent a week retuning for it.
