Dejon SRI installed

Works like a charm, sounds great, and obviously NO codes or issues. Been driving with it since Friday night after install was completed.

Below picture is the new intake tubing setup w/ the vent welded into the intake. The "brass" expandable plug is my temp recirc "plug" until I figure out which to go with and get installed. Thinking of waiting for Hahns to see, since I have their charge piping already (which will need modified). I didnt want to order the intake, then have to order another intake down the road.

What did you do to attach the vacuum line? Looks odd, but sounds like it works

I just installed mine yesterday with the spring upgrade as well. It sounds amazing, but have to ask to see if this is normal, is it really loud when your accelerating until you get to about 4000rpms, like alot of air is whooshing in the intake? Im not throwing any codes or anything, jusy asking.

That's the main reason for getting intake on these cars . WHOOOSH!

Yea I have catless downpipe, 3 in exhaust, charge piping and now intake and was just wondering if it was normal. It sounds great just wasnt expecting that much of a change. Next is a tune, lol, should have been first but the car still only has 2200 miles on it.

Yes...all the intakes now have the vent tube welded into the tube, and the hose/extension to connect to the cars vent hose is included as well.

The item they didnt include is the brass expandable plug I have in the intake line temp while I wait on a new recirc valve to arrive

Badass man. If I trade my 2.4SS in on an SS/TC sedan like I plan on doing at the end of summer, I plan on getting the Dejon SRI and the Dejon I/C + I/C hard piping. Looks good man

Thanks! Getting tuned soon, picked up a 2nd ECM from GTP last week (thta worked like a charm as well) which I'll end up doing trifecta tune. I was waiting on GM, but I just couldnt wait anylonger

My goal is just 300whp so its a very simple one to reach. I'm not worried about other stuff right now, the intake is for the sound and performance when tuned, the piping for piece of mind (dont like the idea of the piping blowing apart). Shall see how the rotated mounts work on the car, otherwise I'm happy at going for 300whp

I like my Dejon intake, looks and sound really nice and I think it may have added some power. I will see in two weeks when I get dynoed again.

I don't think we will need the rotated mounts on our cars GM did very will with making traction..my first traction mod will be tires and I think that should be enough with jus bolt ons and a tune

Nope it will rub on the bolt for the stock air box and the A/C pipe. I got steel pipe and put a rubber piece on the bolt, not to worried about the A/C cap because that whole line moves pretty easily so it shouldnt be a problem. I think that these companies should make a SRI/CAI kit, is it just me or do you think it would be easy enough to bend a pipe that would go through the fender and everything and connect up to where the filter connects to on the SRI, with a coupler and move the filter to inside the fender? They could offer the pipe for another 50-75 bucks and we already have the filter, and if you live in a climate that gets bad winters and such you could just swap them out with ease.
