As far as I know you just reuse your factory gaskets. It is a factory replacment part. If your gasket aren't in good shape that's another story. Also I was told there is no gasket between the turbo and the downpipe only between the exhaust and the downpipe is there a gasket.

There are gaskets on both ends, of course, but most people reuse them. Generally that is okay, but there's a chance it will leak. I think mine are starting to leak since I've swapped the downpipe a few times now.

I'm buying a zzp downpipe from mkurley and he told me that he only has a gasket on the exhaust side and that there was no gasket on the turbo side. wangspeed so what your saying is that my current stock downpipe has a gasket on both ends and I will reuse those gaskets when I install the zzp pipe

The turbo side gasket typically stays stuck to the O2 housing off the turbo. You usually need a pick to release it.

So basically the same size gaskets are used even though its a aftermarket catless Downpipe? But probably better off using new gaskets just to be safe

Might be a dumb question but do I need to remove it with a screw driver or can it just stay there since I'm reusing it. For example does the gasket have to be placed on the dp before instalation or can it stay on the turbo during installation.

Most people just leave it alone, but it can leak, since it's a crush gasket.

If you want to spend the money on the gaskets and want peace of mind than yes buy the gaskets. But as wang said most people have reused the stock gaskets without any problems, though there is a possibilty of it leaking
