Dp ?

I know alot of people have changed their downpipes. Anyone care to tell me what size the nuts/bolts are? If you don't mind, how many extensions did you use? I cant find my deep wells or extensions so I'm gonna have to buy new ones, that's the reason for such a lazy sounding question.

it's funny you asked because i had to change over my catless downpipe to my factory one today for an inspection. And then after the inspection i came home and put the catles back on. I can do it in like 5 minutes flat now lol.

That sucks, I use to have the Dejon as well, but sold it a few months ago once I learned how it affected fuel trims.

You used 2 12" extensions to remove the downpipe do you really need 24" just to reach the bolts by the turbo?

That's what I remember as well. Buy a 6 point set, better bite.

I think I used around 20" of extension. Drop the turbo end first, then you can access the rear joint top nut better.

15mm it is. A long extension helps, but if you just undo where it couples to the rear section first, you can bend it down slightly and it makes some room for you Should take no more then an hr!

If it bolted up to the stock DP it will bolt up to the ZZP DP.

jeezes changing DP's is a pain in the ass. had to take the catback hangers off to let the catback hang so i could get to the top bolt on that 3rd bolt flange. and the extensions for the turbo suck. Only had enough extensions for a 3/8" ratchet, but went out and bought a 1/2" -3/8" adapter so i have more leverage getting those nuts loose. changed 2x so far, after my inspection i gtotta do it again lol.

Just pull down on the exhaust a bit and you can get to that top bolt pretty easy. I used a deep socket with no extension and got it off without too much effort or aggrivation.

I just bought a metric set of deepwells at harbor freight for like $10- they're tools are so damn cheap! So whether mine are 15mm or 17mm I'll be set. Thanks for the info everyone.
