Harbor freight ftw. They aren't as nice as craftsman but they sure are damn cheap. I have bought a welder, air compressor, work bench, dolly, tool chest, and i don't even know how many hundreds of dollars of tools from them. I should own stock with how much i have spent in that damn store lol

Yeah, as long as you dont mind the tools only lasting a few years of hard use (or less) as they are really cheap Chinese tools... Ive had a few sockets break and one ratchet break on me so far. Also the heat gun I bought there died within a year. However, the tools I bought for occasional use are lasting just fine (angle grinder, 6" sander, etc)

Never had a single one of my craftsman tools break. However even they have gone down in quality over the last few years.

I just got done with my custom dp. In case anyone cares I replaced the 2nd cat with a welded pipe, I gutted the first cat, and added a O2 bung extension sort of like Dejons. I was going to get a catless dp but I thought trying something myself for under $20 compared to atleast $250, would be worth a shot. It sounds pretty mean, I can hear the turbo spool alot better too. I know I still have the crush point at the O2 sensor, but, it'll have to do for now. I haven't heard of anyone else doing this so I thought I'd give it a whirl/end.

Yup, rusty old bolts FTL on old cars . It is nice working on the fairly new cobalt and not being covered head to toe in grease (like when I work on my 300zx or my f250 superduty)

Anyone else with a catless dp notice the engine being louder? The sound from my exhaust tip is awesome, but I swear it sounds louder (than it use to) underneath the car. I'm damn sure there is no leak, the only bolted part of my exhaust is where it bolts to the manifold, everything else is welded. Thoughts????

I dont think I'm wording it right, it sounds louder underneath the car-like as I'm getting in the car, the exhaust is obviously louder, or are you saying the engine is suppose to be louder? I'm not new to working on cars or anything, just really new to turboed ones...

It was little bit of a biatch, I checked the nuts (lol) earlier today and all was fine, I guess I'm just not used to something that loud, I might get a resonator to quiet things down a tad.
