it is louder than stock, deeper and a little more growl. But is still quiet, considering. When you floor it, it is loud. But that is all personal opinion right? I mean to me, it could be louder or more throaty, but I've had it this way for 2 years. Stock is freaking quiet. My MS3 had a fantastic exhaust note stock. The SS was real quiet compared to the MS3. But with the catted dp the SS is louder.

Funny story actually, I got pulled over more times BEFORE I got the exhaust than after lol.
haha, if you do straight pipe you definitely will, that resonator is doing a good bit of dampening compared to straight pipe, when i deleted my resonator it got a lot louder. but yea, im the owner of the cobalt in his TF video he did last summer, funny thing is, i have more views on my video he did than a C5Z, an old 42 hot rod (not 100% sure on the year), and the Evo he did lol. actually those three combined dont have nearly as many views as mine lol. the 42 and evo were done before mine as well. and 13.4 is still faster than me, if i actually had a good tire that sticks i could prolly hit 12s so your still faster than me from a dig lol. not for long though ;P doing the zfr when i get back home and then getting some tires and small wheels. have we met before?

No not yet, we talked on someone's wall though on FB and I saw that video of your cobalt. I run factory tires and I was told I need better tires as well from Roshan at Powerhaus lol. I'll be doing a turbo swap by the end of the year, going for a different set up though, but the ZFR is a sweet turbo.

who's page? whats ur name? lol. but yea, i think the factory tires are actually a little stickier than my KDWs. roshan tuned my car when he was with RPM. i thought it was funny when he thought my clutch was slipping and then i looked at him and was like nope....stage 4 and good to go lol. but i love the zfr for something mild and potent. what turbo are you going to go with?

Would it be best just to do a muffler delete on the stock exhaust to get that deeper sound? I've heard the stock exhaust is good enough for minor modded cars.

yeah lots of people have done it. Stock is 2.5". when you go aftermarket down pipe they are usually 3" though, so you'd "want" to match. Also turbo cars, you want that exhaust after the turbo gone, away, asap.
