Drag radials

What size drag radials should i get an what kind, im looking for good drag radials and need them to fit the stock rim

this should be under the tires/wheels section, but anyways, just get 245/35/18 tires for the front..kumho xs, conti dw or hankook v12. that is 24.8" tall, and the stock 225/40 are 25.1" tall...

thats just my 2cents, but gl

For stock rims you should get Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials 245/40/18.

IMO anyway.

i have those mounted on a set of stock ss/sc rims that im tryin to get rid of..very stick but i dont use em i nvr go to the track

I have a set of bfgoodrich drag radials on my old set of g6 17 rims. 225/45/17 tire on them and when I'm down the track I run 15lbs of air in them and I don't spin at all.

for autocross - yes...useless for drag racing - no...these actually do heat up and get pretty sticky...i have them

I agree with peachpuff. The A6 is not designed for drag racing but i guess I could see it used if that's all you had. The tires Aaron recommended aren't drag radials.

I think the Mickey Thompsons would be the best bet.

not on my car..ran em on another 1...the ones i have now were used at the strip before as well and he had no issues with them hooked pretty well
