Because we are not JUST working on Cobalts, we have been making custom jobs for a while and since the team is focusing on the other cars, I am left with research. If I where to get no info I would just do that, take the tranny down and use the OEM one. I will keep posting when we get to it.

i see what you're sayin but he doesn't know if they are the exact same flywheel and if they are he already has one on the work bench rather than having to take the tranny out of the lnf to get the flywheel from it. not really any point in taking a part off the car if you have the exact same part sitting on the work bench if they are in fact the same part. i think thats what he meant?

yeah i just googled the clutchmasters twin disc and saw it was 1700 for the street twin and 1800 for the race twin. i guess in reality that is not a bad price for a twin disc clutch considering some tilton and os giken units that cost 6k or more for their twin and triple disc clutches. but for a cobalt that likely will never really "need" a multi disc setup i'd personally never pay 1800 for one for the lnf. i mean the most hp possible right now on the lnf would be 700ish which really only from a drivability standpoint is a multi disc needed......not that it wouldn't benefit from it but you can certainly get by without it

I just checked the ones I have. Their exactly the same . They both have the same numbers on the back and are made in Germany. Its the pressure plate and disc that appear to be different. Unless mine are all LNF I know they will bolt to the LSJ crank which is the same as the LNF
