Dyno HP tuned today

Well I had my stock 2008 SS Dyno tuned today by No Limit Motorsports. It has 4200 miles on it with no mods. It made 250HP stock and after tuning with the hp tuners it made 301 HP and 342ft lbs of torque. Needless to say the car is now ballistic and I am very happy with the results.

Congrats Nice to see more stock #'s. Wait til you get some bolt on's and re-tuned!

OH YEAH....were they all 4th gear pulls? I've heard some guys are doing 3rd gear pulls in the LNF's for some reason. ???

I know in the LSJ we're supposed to do 4th gear pulls for a 1:1.....so why are you doing 3rd gear pulls? Your #'s are likely off a little bc of this.

300 whp and 340 wtrq is possible with cam adjustment but definately that is the line at stock to get more than 300 parts will need to be added. 300 whp stock tuned has already been done before.

yeah the axles are holding up just fine, i don't use the no-lift shift and most tuners don't recommend using it, but besides that no axle issue, they are pretty beefy

I will try to post the dyno sheet when I get the file. It is no B.S.! This car is mental. The difference is night and day after the tune. It was 22F or so outside when I got the tune, probably 30 in the shop so that might have something to do with the good #'s but not all that much. The relative difference before and after the tune was amazing. It kinda walks a bit with torque steer in third gear now. It didn't before.2nd gear is a joke, kinda like first was before the tune. He did play with the cam timing a bit to help carry the HP and ignition timing too. I was very pleased with this cars power when I bought it and now even more so. Best bang for the buck ever I might say?

A tune is the best mod you can do on these cars. I don't think he is bullshitting at all I made 253 whp, 247 wtrq stock and 307 whp, 330wtrq tune only, and that is on 20 psi boost not 22 psi.

We normally do third gear pulls to not only reduce the likelyhood of clutch slip but also because 4th gear is technically an overdrive gear. 3rd = 1.18 4th = 0.89. we really do not have a true 1:1 gear in our cars.

What were your corrected SAE numbers because if it is 30* or so your uncorrected #s will be really over inflated. When I had my car dynoed it was 79* and my SAE and STD #s were within a few HP but if it is very cold outside there can be a 30+ hp difference.
