24psi tunes spook me - **** always pops after 23 it seems (sooner or later).
Them darn spooky tunes..

I don't know man, been pushing the 24psi for about 2 months with no issues. The only problem I had was that my key got stuck in the ignition.

Stop listening to ronn. He has about 5 data points that only support his theory. There are probably 100 people running the 24 psi for 10K miles or more that have had no issue.

24psi here no issues... there's been a few people to run 30psi without a issue for 10k miles. You gotta know how to drive it!

I've been using the green, holds 23.5 - 24psi like a champ lol. Ill get some flutter going up hill in 2nd or 3rd sometimes in first but its real rare don't worry me at all.

Dam, 30 psi on a stock turbo.??.. that sounds crazy. Doesn't the KO4 lose efficiency past 24psi.??..so what would be the point..??

Really man it depends on how you drive, when I first got the e-85, I was going through it like ridiculous fast. A full tank would last about 2-3 days, lol but then I kinda calm down and stop driving so fast. Now I get pretty good mpg. But the only thing that really kinda sucks is that e85 isn't available every where.

Sign up for Photobucket or any photo site. Upload photos to that site and add them to your library. Hover of the photo in your library and a bunch url tags will pop up. Click the one that says "IMG". Paste that URL in your post. Enjoy photo-goodness.

I see better avg mpg's on e85 than I did on 93. HP tuners ftw
Made 314/388 on a dynojet with nothing but a downpipe and a conservative 20psi hp tune, so his numbers are definitely pretty close.

Anything over 24psi is going going to net you some torque and lots of heat. It is definitely NOT advised to run higher than 24 without meth injection. Ask all the people that have torched their ringlands on the trifecta infiniboost tune.

i am on infiniboost and hittin 22 and spiking rarely to 24, also its very hard to hit over 24 on the cobalts, soltice and sky can make it with mods, also i agree with NOT goin over 24, stock turbo loses efficiancy after 23 anyway so its pointless unless you have it re-worked, but nice numbers

yes and its after 23psi and 30psi not to hate but i doubt it, at least the fact that it holds it constantly...that turbo is burning

That's not infiniboost then.. Infiniboost was running 27-30psi, since there was no upper limit on boost. At least when Vince first released it it was..

You can run elevated levels of boost in the low/midrange then drop it to around 20 psi up top.

I'm averaging around 20 mpg. Its the pulls that eat gas. I can literally watch the fuel level drop about .3 gallons per pull via HPT

As far as I know none of those cars were on e85. E Burns cooler so I'd assume cylinder pressures would not be quite as high given a certain psi between 93 and e85

Yes it is, unless you have the mods to support it, it wont run that high, I'm certian the guyz on youtube who say they do dont, especially with the mods that they claim to have. No one is puttin over 24psi on a stock Ko4 with just a couple of bolt-ons, they spike very rarely over 24 but certianly not holding it, they're turbo would be cooked rare style

Read this, then get back to us

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/pict...eature-251586/

Also BYT ran 30 psi on the Stock K04 for over a year

BTW I ran a solid 26 psi (not spiking then dropping like some) for over a year, pulled the turbo off to exchange it for the BNR 2871 upgrade and the turbo was in perfect condition.

My ringlands never fried.

I'm now running 26 psi on my BNR 2871 and still using all the same factory equipment.

To be honest I'm more worried about the valve train breaking then my ringlands.
