I'm an idiot and I ran E47 for at least a year without issues. No pushing. My HEB had them both in the same pump. The only issue was waiting in line and getting the crazy-eye when you swiped your credit card twice. It's like they thought you were cutting in line on them. Buncha bipolars!

I bet the majority of Cobalt owners running an E47 blend don't test the ethanol content.

You're probably right b but I guess im a little ocd about it.
I mean, I wont be testing every time I fill up but i probably will once a month or so.
hell, it only takes a few minutes to do and for the peace of mind it'll be worth it to me.

Did u ever get tuned for it??

Not yet, planning on it this spring though. But yeah, better safe than sorry when it comes to testing. I'm assuming you just dump a little E into that tester and the % shows up?

theres a line that you put a tiny amount of water in (probably a quarter of the whole tube) and the rest e85 (it'll also have a line that says fill e85 up to here)

you shake it up, wait a couple minutes and it will be clear where the ethanol line is.

Sounds simple as can be. I bet people get pissy though if they are waiting behind you with all the testing, mixing, and swiping of the card going on lol

I'd dress up in a fancy suit with some glasses and act like I'm an important scientist.

Don't forget to put up caution tape around the pump.

Well I've joined the e47 club today.
Had to push her away from the pump to upload the tune.
No codes or anything strange yet but I've only put a few miles on it since and haven't done any pulls yet either.

I'm gunna try a couple pulls on my way to class tonight

You'll be surprised at the amount of wheel spin you're going to have. When Tom sent me my first rev tune, I though I was going to break something.

Well I got two easy pulls in.
Easy because the roads up hurr are still a bit shitty.
I'm really impressed by the new power even without going wot.
On my way home I popped a code that made me a lil nervous until I checked it n it turned out to just be a p0420 because of my catless dp.

Does anybody else's car seem quieter on E??

You can do it. Going to need the upgraded injector seals and cam with larger fuel lobe from ZZP though.
