ebrake issue

ebrake issue

i just realized my ebrake on right tire wont work, line is good, it seems to be broken inside the caliper, is there a way to open and fix or do i need a new caliper? if so where do i get one. 09 ss/tc

You need to remove your caliper, remove the brake pads, and compress the caliper cylinder by spinning it in, clockwise. It is hard to spin, so you have to push inward with a lot of force while SLOWLY spinning the cylinder. After it is completely compressed, re-install the caliper and do the same thing to the other side. After you do that, pump your brakes back up, then notice how your ebrake starts working on about the third click.

Stupid, shitty stock rear calipers.
