ecoTechnik turbo kit

I was just wondering if anyone has installed or pre-ordered the ecoTechnik turbo kit from synapseturbo.com. I heard it is sposed to be good. They compared it to stock to see the differance. Stock numbers 260 hp and 260 tq, EcoTechnik numbers 371 hp and 383 tq on 22 psi.

Kit includes:
GT2871r Turbo
SynapseTurbo Exhaust Manifold
SynapseTurbo 2 piece Downpipe
SynapseTurbo Intercooler Kit
SynapseTurbo Intercooler Kit
Turboxs BOV
Custom Oil/Coolant lines
Hptuners Tuned File

I don't think synapse really pushed the GT2871r to the limits like everyone else is doing with the k04, 22psi on the GT2871r isn't much at all.

You're fooling yourself if you think the stock turbo will push that much cool air. The GT28 is probably barely in it's efficiency range at 22psi on this car.

Also, the guy who was claiming the highest k04 numbers is also claiming that is gt28 setup makes +50whp over his old setup.

The problem with the ecotechnik kit is the tune.

Make sure if/when you get it to take it to someone who is a reputable tuner.

Get GMS1, then this kit and a custom tune and you could be 400-425 no problem.

That's what I was thinking too.
And I bet the GT28 will last a lot longer than the stocker at that same HP.
