Do yourself a favor, replace that line coming outta the slave that goes into that block. Make sure the little seal and plastic clip on it are PERFECT, or they will not seal. I had to do that on two occasions. Once I replaced that line, everything was perfect. Before, I got exactly what you describe, it wouldn't hold pressure while bleeding it.

Did you by chance do the zzp rod with the tranny out. If you did and didnt get the rod to snap back into the master cylinder and the plunger will be stuck all the way forward. It happened to us when doing my clutch. Or do you know for sure its not sealing down there? We had to take out the master cylinder and put a blunt tip object in on end of the master and pop the rod in that way.

He's talking about the ZZP adjustable rod between the pedal and the clutch master cyl, we've had issues after changing it. He did his when doing the clutch and had different problems than I had, that's all. I don't believe the OP changed the rod though.

Ahh, wasnt' aware they made something like that.

His problem sounds exactly like something i've encountered before. Doubtful he's getting a leak on the trans from a parts change in the cabin.

What happened with mine is the plunger in the master cylinder got stuck and was causing the kind of problem he described. Thats all. So I was just saying that if he changed the rod to make sure its in right basically.

I've had that seal go out before too (the one on the elbow).. For a while i just started missing wot 2-3 shifts because the shifter would feel like it was hitting a brick wall (from bleeding the pressure out when I would rapidly hit the pedal for the wot shift..).. then one day the pedal became totally useless.. and i had to nurse it to work with no clutch..:-\..
