I got my buddy to pull some of my engine data for me with his computer last night. I mentioned this in the 'turbo going out' thread last night. Here is some of the data. Does this signal anything to any of you?

ENGINE IDLING:
Engine load at idle 40
Ltft -.8 (cleared the codes shortly before)
Stft-.8
TP angle 9% (seems odd)
Purge evap 35%
Evap vent - venting all the time

Any input is appreciated!

 

veritas, what did you pull this with?

i dont think the evap is supposed to be venting all the time. it may be finished.

 

I'm not sure what type of computer it was.

The thing I'm wondering is which solenoid to replace?

 

The throttle plate is supposed to be slightly open at idle so that makes sense. Whether 9% is the right amount or not is another question.

 

Trims are spot on. ETC @ 6-9% at idle is about right, but 40% load at idle is about double for what you should actually be seeing normally with the A/C off. Even with the A/C on I have never seen much over 32% at idle.
