Engine Power Reduced...why!?

my car is on engine power reduced and i have no idea why, other than a K&n drop in which i have had for a few months now i have no upgrades, all stock. is this a common problem on 09 cobalt ss? most of the stuff i find in the search is for the supercharged

You need to take it to the dealer so they can pull the code could be something as stupid as the gas pedal position sensor or something more serious.

did u missfire? what were u doing when it happened? mine just did it to, when i did a nls. lol had to turn it off and back on to reset.

Could be several things. On my 09 SS it was the fuel pump going bad.

nope, i was very innocently backing out of a parking spot after work...then suddenly i heard the beeps...got the message on the display...$%^#!! im going to call the dealer tommorow...its been one day without boost and im having sever withdrawel...i need it now!!!

probably a bad fuel pump that was wrong with mine when it had the same problem my car took like 2 minuets t get to 60 no lie

Charge piping came loose maybe? Did you hit anything and crack the intercooler endtanks?

I bet its the fuel pump because there is a TSB on this issue.
