exhaust

Ive been researching cat back systems for awhile now about 2 months of listening to/watch clips on youtube and other sites to see what kind of sound, sounds the best and none really have exactly what im looking for a slightly deeper tone than most. So what i plan on doin is just having a exhaust shop build me a exhaust system with the muffler of my choice so my question is going with a 3in all the way will that make it sound a lil deeper than keeping it kinda stock size piping. I know it will better flowing and more performance with a 3in once i get the gms1. Any comments and recomendations are wanted.

Take a look at Mandrelexhaustsystems.com. They sell exhaust piping w/ your choice of muffler and resonator. 2.5 and 3in. Might be a easier choice than having a shop custom fab one.

Just get a catless Downpipe and replace the resonator with a straight pipe. That's what I did and it sounds awesome!!!

I'd really like to hear borla's new LNF catback they just released.... from looking at it they didn't use a resonator .... just one muffler and thats it.

X2 I would go catless downpipe. After if you're still not satisfied with the sound you can either take out the muffler or the resonator. Personally I would take out the muffler and leave the resonator, its better for decreasing drone.
