I totally win

I don't know why Tim is such a numnut, I sent him probably 200 emails over the course of 4 months and met him in person when my car was done. Hell, we did like 130 on the interstate while test driving my car. Here is my build thread,

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/adva...-build-291359/

You might want to email him back and ask about "Justin Cunningham with the blue Cobalt from florida with the efr 7064, f40 trans, and quaife"... He can't forget that much information!

Sounded like you were arguing who had the lsd first. I don't think it would matter which lsd would fit, there both for a f40.

I guess it could look like that, I thought I was the first, but apparently not, he wins, I was just told one thing by Tim and now I find out that it was not the case. But now I really want to know why there are 2 diffrent LSD's from Quaife for the same and what the difference is between them.

Yeah, it's such a joke for a new dual mass flywheel, new clutch, shift cables, shift tower/base AND a transmission that is almost impossible to find here in the states.

I want the ZZP F40 setup badly! If I didn't have home improvements to take care of, this would be right on top of my list of things to do. I hate my clunky F35 and hate how it reminds me of the glass jaw 10 bolt in my old LS1 SS

Nah, I was just poking fun. We both have awesome cars, I would like to know the difference as well and how they fit into the tranny's. Don't look into things so much :p Sarcasm is lost over the internet, at least this wasn't on facebook, we would be arguing for years!

What model quaife is it? Maybe you could answer the question about which one should have been put in one of our transmissions... or if both work.. which seems strange.

I emailed Tim what you said and he comfirmed, numnuts, how could he forget your build, but he still did not say anything about the differences, Tim let me down, I really thought I was first, damit, lol. I basically did the same thing as you last May, just gave them my car and said put the best of everything on it, if the F40 would have been there at the time I would have done that, wish I had waited, then I would not have dealt with them building up my F35 and then now switching it out a year later.

six layers of c-board!! at one point i've used 4" styrofoam to set up the F35 gears on the bench, until I got the kent moore stand to hold them up.. alot easier now..
