Fixed a P2177 Code.

Throwing this out there in case someone runs unto a similar situation.

So, this morning taking my daughter to school I notice that my car is sudenly driving like ****, Boost wouldn't go past 9 psi with the tune on, 5 min later my check engine light came on so I was like....huh oh no (Turbo went bad).....so I drove slowly back to a local Advanced Auto Part and had the car scan and P2177 (car running Lean) came up!!! So I drove back Home and let the engine cool off for a bit, open the hood and started thinking.......so Desiree to do all the ez stuff before doing the put the car back to stock and take it in for warranted. So, I took the intake off and the K@N filter was pretty dirty so I cleaned it, while there I took my time and Check to C if the Forge BPV was ok and BAM, what a huge un expected surprice. The valve was stuck on the open position and dint wanna return to the close position with me pushing on it so I took it apart and re-oiled it with a bit of Olive Oil, I put it back together and it was opening and closing pretty awesome. I took a little longer and cleaned everything up, Turbo Housing, Bpv housing, and its surrounding's. at this point I disconnected the battery and let it sit for 10 min. Once I had put everything back together I took the car for a trip and wow, everything was back to Normal at full Boost, even better then before. End of Story...

The stock BPV requires no maintenance.

Nice. I wouldn't unplug my battery though. That resets your fuel trims and all that. The ECU should clear the code on its own after a few cycles of the problem being fixed.

I think it's good practice to always disconnect the battery when working on the car. the fuel trims will go back to where they were anyway
