Flex Fuel

So my little weekend warrior has recently turned into my DD which is kind bad because it has 138k with the EFR turbo and etc. let's just say it's not stock. I got it tuned from ZZP for E47 and the thing is, the closest E85 station is 30 mins away from me so I am in desperate need of learning how to install the flex fuel kit up to the ECU. Anyone done this before?

I'm with you. Hptuners doesn't have hi lo alcohol tables for the LNF and I don't know if the ecu even has them or an input for an alcohol content sensor

..

Just have to use the test tube method. There's a real nice one on Ebay that includes 2 little sucker bulbs for the water and fuel to make it nice and clean, and they are very accurate. I've been using an in car gauge to measure E content. Pretty cool stuff. This time of year I've just been pumping 6 gallons E (flex fuel, not e85, which is supposed to be between 51-83%, even though I've tested it at 90% before. Weird) and 5 gallons 93 and its been getting me +/- 2% of my E47.5 target every time. I'm sure that will change soon as cooler weather blends come in.

Get re-tuned for 91. Sure you'll lose power but you don't have to carefully plan out each trip you take.

Or go meth injected.

Yeah just go gas until you aren't driving it everyday. Do you have a gas tune along with the e47?
