Take your intake off for better access.

Taking the elbow off is that part I didn't really wanna do because of the screw so close to the firewall but I got the forge bov installed and sounds almost identical to stock? Is this because I have the very restrictive stock intake? Or did I not put it in correctly??

Yes an aftermarket intake amplifies the bpv noise.

If you do the AB mod you can hear it more. I hear my stocker fine with the ZZP intake elbow and snorkel fix

Installed it today. I HP tuned my car to 22psi, so I installed the yellow spring. However, I suspect it is leaking boost because I can hear a very loud and shrill whistle when in boost above 18 psi that didn't exist before. I need to try adding a washer to see if it makes a difference. I have a modified airbox snorkel, K&N drop-in filter, and all else is stock. It does seem a little louder when releasing part-throttle, mid-rpm, medium boost... Otherwise it sounds stock, which is fine by me.

Ok, recieved mine a day ago. When comparing it to the gdubs review video, the vacuum nipple on bpv points down, not straight out like the video. Is this a different version? Any others w/ the same type?

Got mine and installed today. Quite easy to do really.

My stock one DEFINITELY wasn't working right. (I'm at 71K miles btw) Anyone saying that the stock one won't leak boost is full of it. I'm sure they work right at first but do wear out.
It drives SOOOOO much better now. I gained 1.5 lbs of boost. (Up to 22 psi)
But like I said, mine wasn't working right to begin with. Oh, they DO come prelubed.

Thanks very very much gdubs!!

dart my intake clamp was in the way too, i fliped it around so that is closer to the engine instead of the firewall, much easier to tighten down without the bpv in the way
