Im really liking it so far, it seems to release the air quicker and more precise (if that makes sense). I noticed the car recovers much quicker between shifts. Nothing really performance wise (not that I expecting anything).

Thanks again
Yep, use the spring it already had installed. I tried both. Went back to the lighter spring. I've been running the Forge for a few months now, and it's great. I suspect you'll have to lube it at least once a year. You'll know if it needs it. You'll start getting surge.

Wicked Awesome! Big Thanks!

I first off want to thank gdubs for doing this for us and doing it all so quickly. And thanks to Forge for letting this happen and making such a beautiful and sweet product.

I received mine yesterday (I didn't get home until late so I couldn't install it right away) and installed it today; took 10 minutes. It really is a beautiful piece and is certainly well made.

Like what was said before, it releases the pressure a little differently... it lets it out a little longer. It might be a little louder but I really can't tell. It's just noticeably longer.

I know a lot of you are wondering how the stock one's look as they come out and what mileage is on them... so here is mine. I have 31,000 miles on it and about 24,000 miles are tuned pushing 21 PSI. I drive pretty spiritedly and hit full boost many times a day. It looks pretty new still. No tears or anything. It worked flawlessly while it was installed... but I'm always upgrading

On with the pics of the STOCK BPV (Again, this has 31,000 miles on it and 24k were tuned):

Mine arrived this morning at my work.

Thanks gdubs! Go find us something else awesome to group buy!

Also, my cubemate's exhaust or something showed up today for his Evo X GSR. I don't have the heart to tell him he'll still lose...from a roll.

Interesting..the only way it could be faster is what you have said. What was the condition of the stocker? Sorry, but the only thing I can see is that it *may* hold boost a bit longer when lifting (going into vacuum)..and that might not be a good thing, since ya wanna dump boost quickly to avoid surge (which can damage the turbo long term). I'm not saying you're wrong on this, just my take. BTW, my boost comes on very quickly with stocker.
