yeah intake makes all the noise. The BPV makes it exhale longer, lol.

Nope haven't received mine yet. With the 2 extra days they were closed over Christmas and the extra day after new years(due to both of the falling on a weekend) we'll be lucky if we have them buy the summer lmao

 

I'm very pleased with mine... It definitely sounds like it's releasing the pressure a bit cleaner. It looks and sounds great. I can't wait until it's a little bit warmer so i can really hit the boost hard.

 

Has anyone noticed a new defined noise coming from the turbo at high rpms near redline at full boost? I have a new turbo noise

 

TURBO?
The bypass port is supposed to be fully closed on full boost, no matter what BPV you're using. So...why would the turbo have a different sound?

 

could it be the BPV is actually staying all the way closed unlike his stocker possibly leaking some boost? idk only thing i could think of.

 

His stocker prolly worked perfectly...we know because he stated that it was fully compressed when he removed it and *launched* when the vacuum was released after pulling the line. If it was torn or not seated, it wouldn't hold vacuum like that. So far, all pics of stockers have looked perfect. Like I said...his TURBO sound should remain the same. Maybe he's hearing the new BPV either closing or releasing?

 

It's during full boost. There is a new noise and it isn't releasing. It's as if the metal bpv allows the turbo spool to echo louder . Anyone have this in yet, floor it in 2nd or 3rd and see if you notice it as well near 5700rpm

 

I noticed metal ringing sound, kinda like a hum but high pitched.

 

Lulz @ cat warm-up. loud and obnoxious, and i like pissing my neighbors off.

 

^lol. when i start my car i hear a loud sucking sound for several seconds followed by a loud PSSSHHH then after a couple more seconds i hear another shorter PSSSSHHH

sounds badass!!!
