did you position the opening on it in downward towards the intake? I know some people put the opening upward and it was causing a lot of flutter.

The air must be able to flow freely back into the intake, if it is up it slows the airflow down and causes the flutter. Trust me try changing it around and it will fix your problem.

ok flipped it to the bottom. wish they had made it so the vacuum hose nipple was up instead of down. not that it wasnt easy. Now, why does my intercepter not show horse power any more after i uploaded the new trifecta tune they just came out with

The nipple is fully clockable just so you know..

As far as your interceptor goes, if you're running the ecp setup, that would be the reason why you aren't getting a power reading. The ecm uses the maf's air flow readings as a big part of it's engine torque calculations. The ecp tune no longer uses the maf and, from what I understand, is basically disabled aside from being used as purely an iat sensor now. No more maf readings = no more power calcs.

Funny this thread came up, I have recently been getting a lot of flutter as well, I might change the spring to the softer one and then position the nipple in a downward position.

Nipple position shouldn't really effect anything honestly. The spring rate definitely will though. I tried the harder spring in mine for about 10 minutes and absolutely hated it. I've been using the softer spring ever since and it's never given me flutter or any issues at all.

The nipple position does not matter, it is the opening inside the bpv that must face the opening in the turbo housing.

Nice, I did maintenance on my BPV a few weeks back(New Grease) so I'll just check it to make sure the opening then is pointing down. Thanks

yes make sure the opening is down, i just switched it, and problem solved, even with stiffer spring, no flutter. i must say i like the stock bpv sounds better though, there were lots and this one has just one lol
