Forged bpv or stock?
I haven't had the car long and last night I saw a forged bpv that looked like mine and thought I had a forged one. So I took a picture and it sucks but was wondering if anyone could tell based on the picture http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r179/b1zz4r3/38416be9.jpg
It looks pretty.
That's really the only benefit I see.
Some will say that the diaphragm will tear on the stock BPV, but you can replace it if it does. The Forge unit has to be greased, so it requires the same amount of maintenance, if not more, and costs a buttload.

You don't really get to see it lol, but ya it does look nice.
i have bunch of stuff done including gms1 and have stock one and like the saying goes if it aint broken dont fix it lol
it just makes a different sound and its for cars that have a really high boost tune from what i have heard
stock is fine

Sound is a tad louder and it's made of metal, metal inside as well with a spring instead of a diaphragm so no need to worry about tearing. As for greasing comment, never heard if it and yeah overpriced.... That's for sure
