Stock plugs, stock gap is best

As for seafoam, it's doesn't do squat. I did it every oil change for years and still had to clean valves at 75k.

But if you want to try, there is a vacuum port right smack dab in the middle top of the intake manifold. Put seafoam in a cup. Connect a hose from that port to the cup and slowly suck a quarter of a bottle in. Let sit and start. Mine never smoked much.

Stock gap or a little tighter on tuned cars

Going back earlier, I think the GMS1 raises the limiter by maybe 250 RPM's. Shift at 6k anyways because the power band dies after that.

looks like the Boost issue has ceased since the lower Sensor fix and slight upgrade. However now there is a new problem .. highlighted in my lastest thread: pre and post spark plug analysis.

-- the Saga continues -- I just hope it doesnt cut out the lining of my tiny pockets.

How if that sensor went bad, would it cause this ball peen hammer sounding tapping coming from my cyclinders... not trying to be a jerk.. I just don't understand how that could effect it.

I think he was just asking you by "lower sensor," you meant the TMAP. He wasn't implying anything.

Yeah, just wanted to confirm what the first problem was. Didn't know you had that other problem.

yeah the Lower MAP sensor ended up being the issue .. the leak was coming from where the screw held the sensor in oddly enough .. which explained the varying degrees of boost surge and loss I was getting as it was compensating for varying degrees of the screws ability to hold the sensor on over bumps.. or in higher g's around corners and such.

so I went to the hardware store, found a similar screw with just a slighly larger thickness but same thread, lined it with plumbers tape.. added a peal washer and put it back in... worked like a charm and is holding the sensor in even tighter now... zero leak.

sorry about my confusion earlier.. the issue with I am still determining but am highly suspicious of a cracked or broken Lash Adjuster or Rocker Arm happend like a week or less a part from me getting this fixed..
