If you are tuned for 94 e10. Would it be ok in an emergency if you put in some 91?

Im talking from the perspective of driving like grandma.. or setting your cruise control at 60mph on the highway. NOt going WOT until you have a full tank of your tuned gas.

Again im just curious if its safe until you make it home if you ended up stranded with only 91 available. Thanks!

 

Depends on how agressive your tune is. But more than likely you'll be fine with 91 if you drive like you stated, and most stations run a e10 blend now no matter what octane

 

i would try and keep a few bottle of octane boost just in case. no harm it that.

 

It'll be fine. Avoid boost.

 

If it's a trifecta select a tune then u could just turn off the tune and I'm sure ud run ok.

 

Lol avoiding boost is like saying no to sex. if you got , your gonna have it as much as possible
