Gear Shifting Feel
Anyone Notice That In Between Shifts There Is A Transmission 'play' Type Feel And Noise And That The Gears Pop Out Real Quick As You Initiate Shifts. I'm Sure Its Just The Way The Tranny And Clutch Work Together. Normal Drivetrain Play? Wonder If A Hardened Tranny Mount Would Help That? I Guess Our Gears Don't Have Synchros Do They Ss/tc 09' Sedan

A little off topic but here goes,
anyone notice the 3rd pedal on these cars? It's right next to the brake pedal. My parents have a Cobalt as well (except its an LS not a SC) and it doesn't have it. Also anyone know why the car makes a grinding sound when switching between the gears?
