Genuine Saab intercooler
Has anyone ever used one of these on there ss/tc and if so how does it hold up and if by chance anyone has any pics of the fiment with the bumper on could they post pics. Thanks in advance

I had to remove the crash bar to install it. You can leave it off, or run with the crash bar and partially block the top part of the intercooler. But this is pretty much what it looks like installed:

don't worry about how mine looks off. That was because I bent the tabs a little too much, but it was adjusted once I was done with everything.
What has two thumbs and the original mocked up intercooler from Steve at Genuine Saab?
MEEEEEE
Got it at 500 miles and now at 62k.
I know several people had fitment issues, but many have not as of late. I would really like to try more of his parts. I live in the same town.

I HATED the Genuine Saab IC. Fitament was horrible, and their customer service when I called to complain about the horrible fitament, was horrible. I installed one back in '09. You want fitament pics? I got 'em.
Here is the IC tank rubbing my A/C line junction. If anything rubs on a car, metal-to-metal, you can get knock retard. You can also bust your A/C line, which would cost a fortune to fix.

This is a picture of my crashbar squashing the IC tank. Mind you, this isn't even with the crashbar tightened all the way back down.

Here is a pic from the top with all three rub spots that I could see:

I pulled the piece of **** off and eventually ended up giving it to another member on here who wasn't as picky about the fitament. Buy a ZZP and be happier than ever. It doesn't rub anywhere and it uses the stock mounting points, so you don't have to do something stupid like removing your crashbar.
